Vinay
Kumar Gupta, M.Sc., PGDCA, is a Computer
Science Specialist who holds a Bachelor's degree in science,
a Master's degree in Mathematical Statistics; and Post
Graduate Diploma in Computer Science. Prior to joining
the Institute in September, 1997, he worked for Rail India
Technical and Economic Services, India as Deputy General
Manager, where he was responsible for the computerization
of various operations including feasibility studies, software
development, implementation and training. His experience
includes setting up a computer center and providing training
for computer operations and programming to Iraqi RepublicRailway
Establishment, Baghdad Iraq.
Mr. Gupta is an Indian national and will be responsible
for maintaining and developing the Institute's IT related
infrastructure including LAN and Internet communications
capability.

Hongki
Jong, M.B.A., received his B.S. degree in English from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea in 1977 and has earned his MBA degree from Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA in 1991. He started his career at HMIC in 1981 and worked as Assistant Manager of Marketing and Export Division of HMIC over two years. Prior to joining the IVI he worked as Department Manager of Human Resources and the Head of the R&D Planning and Administration Department, Central R&D Center, SKC Co., Ltd., an affiliated company of SK Group, Korea, a Fortune Global 500 Corporation, where he was responsible for personnel administration, accounting and budgeting, procurement, security and safety control, IPR and technical library. He joined the Institute in December 1998 as Senior Administrative Officer. He is responsible for leading the administrative services including procurement, travel, government relations and other general administrative matters and overseeing physical facilities and security administration of the IVI. |

Hyisung Kim, AICPA, MSA
Accounting Manager

Ms. Hyisung Kim, M.S.A., AICPA, Accounting Manager, came to IVI in April, 1998. She is a U.S.-trained certified public accountant. A Korean citizen, Ms. Kim holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Sogang University in Seoul and a master's degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Prior to coming to IVI, she worked for 3 years as an auditor at Samil Accounting Corp., a member firm of Coopers & Lybrand, and also worked as a credit analyst in National Information and Credit Evaluation, Inc. Earlier, she had worked for 8 years as a PR and Programming Coordinator for the Girl Scouts of Korea. During 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, she served at the Youth Camp Headquarters.

Eunsuk Kim, B.A.
Senior Human Resource Assistant

Eunsuk Kim, B.A., Ms. Eunsuk Kim joined the Institute as Human Resource Assistant on September 8, 2003. She majored in Russian at Kyungpook University and received her BA degree in 1998. She worked for four and a half years at Asiacontent.com Korea(Currently, Dinno Communications), online solution provider and advertiser for Asian market, as HR coordinator and Executive Secretary. Before this she worked at Kims and Lees, an international patent and law firm, for almost two years as Legal Assistant. So she is experienced in recruiting staff through domestic and international competition, organizing training programs, administering compensation and benefit system and other areas of human resources administration together with administrative support work. |

Man Young Lee, B.A., joined the institute as a mechanical engineer in June 2003. He graduated from Hanbat National University and received Bachelor of engineering degree in 1989. After graduation, he worked for 15 years as a mechanical engineer in Kyeryong construction co. Ltd. He is a Sr. Mechanical Engineer taking care of Building and Mainteance team at IVI. |

Sang Lak Yim, B.A., joined the Institute on Oct 11, 2006 as Electric Engineer. He graduated from Soonchunhyang University in 1998 and majored in electrical engineering. He worked at Myung-jun electric corporation as the Electric Engineer for 4 years and Dea-dong electric corporation for 2 years. He takes care of the maintenance of electric facilities and fire fighting facilities belonging to IVI building now. |

Sang Bae Park, B.A., graduated from Yuhan college in 2005 and majored in Japanese. Previously he worked for 3 years as a construction engineer in Kyeryong construction co. Ltd. He has been working for Building and Maintenance team as a Construction & Civil Engineer, since he joined IVI in June 2003.

Byong Suk So, B.A.

Byong Suk So, B.A., joined the Institute as Security Manager as of Dec 17, 2007. His new position will allow the Institute to better serve the needs of strengthening the Institute security. His responsibilities will be establishing and maintaining appropriate security system and security policies and procedures of the Institute to ensure ongoing maintenance of the security. He will also ensure that the Institute is properly prepared for the possibility of emergency and disaster. He is a graduate of Woosuk University, where he completed a BA in Chemistry and an MA in Public Administration. After graduating from the school he served in the Army as Captain in the position of Intelligence and Security Officer over six years. Then after he joined Magnachip Semiconductor, where he has been involved in establishing the security system of the company about two years. More recently, he has been Manager of Security Consulting at Korea Sensor Dot Com. |

Julie(Heang Ja) Kim, B.A, joined IVI on Ist April, 2003 as Accountant to support Hyisung. She received her bachelor's degree in English and English Literature from Sung Kyun Kwan University, Seoul, Korea in 1998. She has been working in accounting and finance function for four years. Until February 2003. she has been working at Edward Keller Korea as Accountant. She is pleased to join the Institute and wants to develop herself through work. |

Claire(Hee Young) Kang, B.A., has joined the Institute as Buyer as of August 13, 2003. She majored in Spanish at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and received her BA degree in 1993. She worked for 6 years as a sales and marketing assistant manager at the local sales office of Nokia-Maillefer (Optical fiber and cable manufacturing machinery maker in Finland) taking care of purchasing from local and overseas suppliers. Most recently she was responsible for procurement at B-I Industrial Co., Ltd., an importing and exporting company. Based on her work experience in procurement, Claire will deal with procurement of equipments, facilities, materials and services required by the Institute as well as assisting in establishing and administering the procurement policies, standards and procedures. |

Young Back Cho, M.S., joined the Institute as a Web Programmer / Developer as of January 2007. He holds a Master of Science degree from New York Institute of Technology in Computer Science and a Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Suwon. He worked as a web developer at ChangeDirectory in New Jersey where he developed a web based recruiting application. He then joined the LanguageWill Training Center as manager of the company web site and developed their Learning Management System. |

Sung Hwa Jin B.A., received her master degree in Library and Information Science from Sookmyung Women's University, Seoul in 2008. She worked as a Web master at SNU Central Library from Nov. 2002 to Jan. 2004 and at Committee of 2005 Frankfurt Book fair Guest of Honor from Feb. 2004 to Jan 2005. She joined the Institute as a Librarian in June 2006. She manages the work of preserving the materials of IVI and of updating library website with IT team. Also she updates the IVI scientific publication database and provides the list for special requests. |

Ji Yeon Lee M.A., received the degree of M.A. in Library and Information Science from Yonsei University in 2007. She has a work experience in DIMS Inc. for 3 months as a Consultant conducting research on 'enterprise record management' and 'compliance and record management'. She joined IVI in Dec. 2007 as a Librarian in carrying out collecting online materials, information retrieval for DDS request, circulating, reference services ,IVI scientific publication database management and other librarian duties. |

Prior to joining IVI she was in a 3-year profession of HR and administration in Eluon Corp.(Network services and messaging solutions provider, KOSDAQ listed) mainly in charge of organizing board of directors' meetings, training, development programs and providing the management with the support to human resources policies. She studied in the UK for the 3 years where she was able to hold a certified accounting technician qualification partially. Having worked at STARBUCKS UK and Burberry Ltd UK enable her to implement a wide range of admin and interpersonal skills to wherever she is directing. Currently she is responsible for assisting expatriate staff, education, training, recruitment and other general HR duties. |
