| At the beginning of 2004 an enthusiastic
group of international scientists is starting to operate
in the new Research Center situated in the Research Park
of the Seoul National University. The mission will be
to do cutting-edge research to obtain effective vaccines
for diseases affecting developing countries. In the years
to come other scientists from the whole world are expected
to join us in the attempt to create a new model of doing
science. To develop our research strategy the collaboration
of our people with the groups
of excellence in the academic and industrial vaccine world
