Since we opened Mucosal Immunology Laboratory in June, 2003, more than two years have passed. Although it took a lot of effort and time to build-up new laboratory from a completely empty place, our laboratory is now well organized and equipped. Our team now consists of highly motivated and talented investigators. Our mission is to build a totally new laboratory with new scientific view, sense, and technology for the creation of new concepts and discovery in mucosal immune system which will contribute to better health care for human beings. To accomplish our mission, the research is aimed at the development of "Mucosal Vaccine" and "Mucosal Immune-therapy" for the prevention and control of infectious diseases.
